I recently had the pleasure to join Claire Wardle, PhD in a webinar on dealing with disinformation. We touched upon a myriad of topics, including:
💡 the need to move from anecdotes and short-term countermeasures in times of elections to a more comprehensive, longterm approach of countering disinformation
💡 a necessary focus on narratives, rather than individual facts, and how such narratives intersect with identeties
💡 the role of platforms, what’s changed over the last 5 years and what more needs to be done.

Inspite of the intensity of the topic, it was a fun conversation!
