On June 3, I had the pleasure of joining a closed door workshop on the G7’s role on mitigating disinformation in Rome. Thanks to the invitation by the ECFR, I was able to engage with a cohort of inspiring experts, discussing a multitude of aspects to consider — and, critically, underscore the ambiguous roles of governments in the fight against disinformation. An important moment of reflection during Italy’s term as presidency of the G7.
