Published as a discussion starter for the virtual Raisina Dialogue 2021 (compiled in the Raisina Edit series), I was delighted to capture some of my thoughts on Artificial Intelligence — both its potential and open questions when it comes to environmental impacts.

In short: “To innovate sustainably, we must ensure that we have the details we need to make informed decisions” — this includes clear mandates and standards, open and transparent reporting, and genuine assessments of the whole value chain of emerging technologies.
