Essay: Climate Action and Net-Zero Ambition: Best Practices for Small and Medium Enterprises?

In Issue 3 of the beautifully designed and curated Branch Magazine, I got to share a call to action for SMEs: Together with Chris Hartgerink, Indré Blauzdžiūnaitė and Vineeta Greenwood we look at some of the main challenges for smaller organisations to take a lead on climate action.

We reflect on the lack of scope 3 guidance, unclear methodologies for digital products, and the hurdles for SMEs to become net-zero certified. To help overcome these challenges, the four of us are championing a monthly SME Sustainability Alliance meetup, where we are sharing best practices and provide space to learn from one another.
